On February 7, Mohamed Nasheed resigned as President of the Maldives saying he was the victim of a de facto coup.
His successor, the former vice president Mohammed Waheed denies there was a coup and is trying to form a government of national unity. But Nasheed tells Stephen Sackur on HARDtalk, that he won't take part in any unity government.
